Courtney Hartzog is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) with a Master of Arts in Professional School Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, both from Appalachian State University.

Courtney specializes in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and trauma-informed supportive counseling for children and adolescents, with a strong focus on involving caregivers in the therapeutic process.

Courtney previously served as a middle school counselor and is experienced in applying various therapeutic techniques, including Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), to help clients achieve meaningful progress.

Her client-centered approach empowers young individuals and their families to navigate and heal from trauma.
